Once the name is approved by the RoC, the company should then call for an EGM to pass a special resolution on changing the name of the company and approve alteration in its Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association.

The company should then file two e-forms with the RoC, one for applying for change of name and the other for seeking approval from the Central Government for the same. Along with these e-forms, the company should attach the reasons for the change of name, proof of documents stating that the name has been changed and the amendments made in the MoA and AoA. Once the name is approved by the Central Government, the company should get its new Certificate of Incorporation from the RoC.
