The court also asked him to explain why he did not follow the procedures laid down in law to evict the tenants from their shops. The court issued the order on Wednesday. It cited that the unauthorized shops were creating nuisance and hardships to residents in Nerkundram Pathai. The court will hear the case on Thursday.
